Online student safety session with NYS Police Thursday at LAMS

Parents interested in learning more about how to keep their students safe online are invited to Linden Avenue Middle School Thursday evening.

LAMS is excited to partner with the NYS Troopers from the Internet Crimes Division to provide a valuable online safety session for district parents in grades 5-12, beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Topics will include cybercrime and how to identify it, how to navigate various social media platforms and their privacy settings, and where to turn for support.

While the session will be held at LAMS and directly prior to the middle school’s open house event, parents of students in grades 5-12 are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing everyone there, 5 p.m. Thursday.
